I grew up, watching my Father building his Chartered Accountancy (CA) Firm. Hence, I was exposed to Balance Sheets and P&Ls at a very young age. I started my CA studies, working alongside my Father throughout. Post qualification, after a point of time, I decided to pursue my career with large corporates. I am proud of my Father, who supported this decision whole heartedly, even though he personally wanted me to stay back.
Hence, from a small city and a small firm, I started my career in larger cities and larger firms, working across large organizations in a variety of domains, including Audits and Forensics.
Turning back, I realize that working at a small firm really helped me a lot, as my knowledge was not limited to a certain domain. I worked across different areas such as Income Tax, Audits, GST, MCA, Consulting and what not!
Also, I would like to extend my gratitude to Jacob Sir for influencing me and introducing me to the world of Accountancy! No one taught Accountancy like you did :) I still remember - DEBIT WHAT COMES IN, CREDIT WHAT GOES OUT. DEBIT THE RECEIVER, CREDIT THE GIVER. DEBIT ALL EXPENSE, CREDIT ALL INCOME.
And Geetha Teacher as well for motivating me to push my limits, rather than settle.
I would love to narrate a few lores about my work as a Chartered Accountant in large consulting firms. However, my work ethics needs me to keep it confidential. Hence, zip.
End Credits - Throughout all this, my Mother was also there for me. Without her I wouldn't have made this far. Thanks Amma!
